Welcome to my website!
I’m Miriam McKnight and I’m just an ordinary house mum with three kids. Most of the time I’m washing dirty football kit, doing the shopping, cleaning the house or doing the school run. I’m sure many of you can identify with all that. I did a degree in Sports Science at Loughborough University and was then a Physical Education teacher…although that all seems such a long time ago now! I have always remained interested in health, nutrition, fitness and exercise so I do know a thing or two, but I’m no crazy personal trainer or ultra marathon runner (nothing wrong with any of those, by the way!), but I’m just an ordinary mum. I happen to be married to Pete, a world leading Strength & Conditioning Coach so that helps to keep me well informed and motivated! He contributes to some of the articles that you find on here.
I’ve put together this website with loads of useful information that I hope you find helpful because I really want to encourage and inspire you to be the women that you can be. To be active, healthy, full of beans and loving life! The articles here are written by myself, my husband, and other experts whom we draw on for quality content. If there are any topics that you would like to know more about, or questions that you have, please don’t hesitate to contact me and I’ll do my best to answer.
Recently I have also written a book called The Happy, Healthy Mom that has done so well it has made me a Best Selling Author on Amazon. This book is a great resource for all mums and I’m sure you will find it really helpful.
